Brief:

Create a motion graphic/short explainer video for business website homepage  

Development:

The client wasn’t sure on the visual direction to go in and I suggested that 3D for this could be really nice. Together coming up with a concept of wanting to represent different job areas through icons placed around a map of the United States. Then these icons were to mesh together to then form the ending logo. This piece was to be placed on the company website and be the first thing that a customer would see when they went to their page. I manged to get all the 3D models for free from turbosquid and other 3D websites. I then cleaned them up and placed them on a height map of the USA. I had been working with height maps for a little while now and really like the look the provide so I was happy I could try this out with a project.
