Client: Hasty

Role: Motion Designer

Brief:

We are wanting an animation to explain the process of machine learning in how it works in our company and how it can be used to fine tune tasks and process information.

Development:

I helped guide the client in a direction of creating a animation that would help tell the story that was required. I chose doing 3D, but definitely had my work cut out for me with all the various scenes and technical headaches this project caused. I had 2/3 computers doing various 3D scenes, and I still felt like I was behind the 8 ball with rendering. Main issue being I only had 1 X-particles licence, so any scenes that had X-particles I could only render on the one machine. Also the start scenes, although they seemed to load quickly, were quite render intensive with the amount of polygons in the trees and especially the wheat detail. Learnt a lot in this project, and have implemented them in future projects.

Tools used: Cinema 4D - Redshift, X-particles

Adobe After Effects
